Can I get a boat loan with no deposit? +
Yes — homeowners can often borrow 100% + on-road costs. Renters usually need 10-20% deposit. We also accept trade-ins, cars or jet skis as deposit.
What loan term for boats in Australia? +
Tinnies & PWCs: 2-7 years. Larger trailer boats: up to 8 years. Yachts & houseboats over $150k: up to 10-15 years via marine mortgage.
Can I buy privately or interstate? +
Absolutely — 62% of our deals are private sales. We do PPSR, HIN & encumbrance checks, hold funds in trust and arrange transport from any state.
Do you finance older boats? +
Yes, up to 20-25 years old depending on hull material & survey. Timber hulls need recent survey. Aluminium & fibreglass are easiest.
I'm self-employed / low-doc. Can I apply? +
Yes. 6 months ABN + 3 months bank statements is enough with our low-doc lenders. Charter income and seasonal income considered.
